Vedixin Clouding is a medical device in the form of ophthalmic drops containing potassium iodide, designed to moisturise the ocular surface and provide prophylactic protection against clouding of the lens and vitreous body.
Ingredients
Sodium hyaluronate 1 mg/ml, potassium iodide 5 mg/ml, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, sodium chloride, highly purified water.
Intended Use
Vedixin Clouding is intended for moisturising the ocular surface and for protection against clouding of the lens and vitreous body.
Product Characteristics
The product contains sodium hyaluronate 1 mg/ml, which integrates with the tear film during blinking, reduces evaporation of moisture from the eye surface, and stabilises the tear film. Potassium iodide 5 mg/ml exhibits antioxidant properties, helping to reduce oxidative stress and support the prevention of clouding of the lens and vitreous body.
Directions for Use
Instill 1 drop into each conjunctival sac 3–4 times daily. In the case of more severe symptoms, the drops may be used more frequently. Suitable for individuals wearing contact lenses.
These drops may be used daily as they are preservative-free. It is recommended to use the product for up to 3 months after first opening, but not longer than 1 month with continuous use and not longer than 3 months with intermittent use.
When using other ophthalmic preparations, Vedixin Clouding should be applied last.

Warnings and Precautions

This multi-dose medical device should be used by only one person.

Do not use in cases of bacterial, viral, or fungal eye infections.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product. Discontinue use if an allergic reaction occurs.

Store in a dry place at 5°C to 35°C, out of the reach of children, and away from heat sources.

Shelf life after first opening: 3 months.

Do not use for more than 1 month with continuous application and not longer than 3 months with intermittent use (including several-day breaks).

Discard any unused solution.

Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

For external use only.

Do not use if the packaging is damaged.

Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surfaces, as this may contaminate the solution.

When using other ophthalmic medicines, wait at least 15 minutes before applying Vedixin Clouding. It should always be applied last.
