Ingredients
The active substances in this medicinal product are: neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate, and bacitracin zinc.
Each 1 g of ointment contains: 400 IU of bacitracin zinc, 5 mg of neomycin sulfate, and 5000 IU of polymyxin B sulfate.
Other ingredients: white petrolatum.
Dosage and Administration
Apply one to three times daily. A thin layer of the ointment should be applied to the affected area of the skin after thorough cleansing and drying. If necessary, the treated area may be covered with a sterile dressing.
Do not use the product for longer than 7 days. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if the patient’s condition worsens, a doctor should be consulted.
Pharmacological Action
Tribiotic ointment comes in convenient single-dose sachets and contains three antibacterial agents: bacitracin, neomycin, and polymyxin B. The product has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity.
Indications
Tribiotic is a topical ointment intended for cutaneous use. It is indicated for the prevention of bacterial infections in cases of minor wounds, abrasions, and burns.
For adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older.
Contraindications
Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the active substances or excipients.
