Product Description
No-Spa® Max 80 mg is an antispasmodic medicine designed to relieve pain caused by smooth muscle spasms in the abdominal area. It is also effective for pain in the pelvic region, affecting the stomach and intestines, and helps alleviate discomfort related to biliary, urinary, and gynecological conditions, including painful menstruation.
No-Spa® Max contains a double dose of drotaverine hydrochloride, which is rapidly and completely absorbed, acting directly on the source of the pain. Drotaverine relaxes smooth muscles regardless of nerve supply or location, providing targeted relief from cramping pain.
Indications
No-Spa® Max 80 mg is used to relieve:

Biliary system spasms: gallstones, cholecystitis, pericholecystic inflammation, bile duct inflammation, Vater papilla inflammation

Urinary tract spasms: kidney stones, ureteral stones, pyelonephritis, cystitis, painful urination

Gastrointestinal spasms: peptic ulcers, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, stomach outlet or pyloric spasms, irritable bowel syndrome, spastic constipation, bloating, pancreatitis

Gynecological conditions: painful menstruation
Composition

Pharmacological Effects
Relaxes smooth muscles of the abdominal cavity and uterus, providing relief from cramping pain.
Dosage and Administration

Adults: 1 tablet, 2–3 times daily (total 120–240 mg per day)

Children ≥12 years: 1 tablet, 1–2 times daily (max 160 mg/day)

Take with water.

Maximum duration without medical consultation: 7 days

Do not split tablets; follow instructions exactly.
Contraindications
Do not use in cases of:

Hypersensitivity to drotaverine or any excipients

Severe liver, kidney, or heart failure
-
Second- or third-degree atrioventricular block
-
Children under 12 years
Storage
Store below 25°C, in the original packaging to protect from light, and out of reach of children.
Adverse Effects
Rare (1–10 in 10,000 patients):

Interactions

Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all medications currently or recently used.

Concurrent use with levodopa may reduce its effectiveness and increase tremors and stiffness.
Warnings and Precautions

Use caution in patients with low blood pressure and in pregnant women

Contains quinoline yellow, which may cause allergic reactions

Consult a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, planning pregnancy, or if you have sugar intolerance

Not for use during labor

Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizziness occurs
