Product Description
Neurobion Advance 100 mg + 50 mg + 1 mg is a medicinal product in the form of white, round, biconvex coated tablets containing thiamine (vitamin B1), pyridoxine (vitamin B6), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). It is intended for use exclusively in adults.

Neurobion Advance is used to prevent or treat deficiencies of these vitamins in the body.


Indications
Neurobion Advance is indicated for adults:

  • To prevent deficiency of thiamine (B1), pyridoxine (B6), and cyanocobalamin (B12)

  • To treat confirmed deficiency of these vitamins

It is particularly recommended in cases where:

  • Dietary intake of B vitamins is insufficient

  • Absorption of vitamins from food is impaired

  • After gastrointestinal surgery affecting nutrient absorption

  • Certain medical conditions increase vitamin requirements

  • Kidney diseases increase vitamin excretion

  • Older adults or patients with neurological disorders, diabetes, or gastrointestinal diseases (e.g., inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease)

Composition
Each coated tablet contains:

  • Active ingredients: 100 mg thiamine nitrate, 50 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride, 1 mg cyanocobalamin

  • Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, gelatin, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), PVA, glycerol monokaprylocaprate, SLS, polidextrose, titanium dioxide, beeswax, carnauba wax


Pharmacological Effects

  • Prevents the reduction of B vitamins in the body

  • Supplements deficiency of thiamine (B1), pyridoxine (B6), and cyanocobalamin (B12)


Dosage and Administration

  • Adults: 1 tablet daily during or after a meal, swallowed with water

  • If no improvement occurs within 30 days or condition worsens, consult a doctor

  • Do not use for more than 30 days without medical supervision

  • In case of a missed dose, take it as soon as possible during the same day’s meal; do not double the dose


Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any ingredients

  • Children and adolescents under 18 years


Storage

  • Store in a place out of reach of children

  • No special storage conditions

  • Do not use after the expiry date


Adverse Effects

  • Allergic reactions: sweating, tachycardia, skin reactions with itching and hives

  • Gastrointestinal disturbances: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain

  • Urine discoloration (red) may occur shortly after intake, usually resolving after discontinuation

Overdose:

  • Excessive intake (more than 1 tablet daily for ≥6 months) may cause neuropathy (e.g., tingling, numbness, muscle weakness, reduced reflexes)


Interactions

  • Vitamin B6 may reduce effectiveness of levodopa and increase side effects

  • Antagonists like isoniazid, cycloserine, penicillamine, hydralazine may reduce B6 effectiveness

  • Loop diuretics (e.g., furosemide) may increase elimination of B1 and B6

Food, Drink, and Alcohol:

  • Alcohol may reduce absorption of vitamin B1


Warnings and Precautions

  • Discuss with a doctor before use in megaloblastic anemia, as B12 may mask the deficiency of folic acid

  • Discontinue use and consult a doctor if any new symptoms appear


Use in Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Fertility:

  • Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or lactation

Driving and Operating Machinery:

  • No impact on ability to drive or operate machinery

Sodium Content:

  • Less than 1 mmol (23 mg) per tablet; considered “sodium-free”
