Product Description
Heviran Comfort 200 mg is an oral antiviral medicinal product used in the treatment of recurrent herpes labialis (cold sores) and facial herpes caused by the Herpes simplex virus. The product is intended for use in adults.
Ingredients
Active substance: acyclovir.
Each tablet contains 200 mg of acyclovir.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium starch glycolate (type A), magnesium stearate.
Dosage and Administration
Heviran Comfort tablets should be taken orally at a dose of 200 mg five times daily, every 4 hours (with a night break), for 5 days.
In recurrent infections, it is particularly important to initiate treatment during the prodromal phase (e.g., itching, burning, tingling) or immediately after the first lesions appear.
Patients should drink plenty of fluids during treatment to reduce the risk of renal impairment and minimize the likelihood of adverse effects. Tablets should be swallowed with water. The medicinal product may be taken with or without food.
Mechanism of Action
Heviran Comfort 200 mg is a medicinal product with antiviral activity. The active substance, acyclovir, inhibits the replication of human pathogenic viruses of the Herpes group.

Contraindications
Do not use Heviran Comfort 200 mg if the patient is allergic to acyclovir, valacyclovir, or any of the excipients listed for this medicinal product.
