Description:
Hascovir Control is an antiviral medicine for the treatment of recurrent cold sores (herpes labialis) on the lips and face in adults. It contains acyclovir, which inhibits herpes virus replication.
Indications:

Treatment of recurrent herpes simplex infections in adults.
Composition (per tablet):

Active: Acyclovir 200 mg

Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethyl starch, potato starch, magnesium stearate
Dosage:

Adults: 200 mg orally, 5 times daily (every 4 hours) for 5 days.

Start treatment at first symptoms (itching, burning, tingling, or first lesions).
Warnings & Precautions:

Do not use if allergic to acyclovir or other ingredients.

Not for children under 18.

Consult a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, elderly, or with kidney problems.

Maintain good hydration during treatment.
Side Effects:

Common: headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, rash.

Rare: severe allergic reactions, kidney or liver issues, neurological symptoms.
