Debutir Forte is a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) in capsule form, formulated to support the dietary management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders. The product contains sodium butyrate and butyric acid—compounds naturally present in the gastrointestinal tract that play a key role in intestinal nutritional processes.

Butyric acid is one of the primary energy sources for intestinal epithelial cells. The product uses an innovative microencapsulation technology for sodium butyrate, which protects it from premature degradation and enables gradual release throughout the gastrointestinal tract, with particular emphasis on the lower intestinal segments.

Indications

For use in the dietary management of:

• Functional bowel disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, abdominal pain, and abdominal bloating

• Acute diarrhea of various origins

• Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD)

• Diverticular disease

• Radiation- and/or chemotherapy-induced enteritis

• Postoperative conditions following gastrointestinal surgery

• Disturbances in intestinal microbiota composition, including during antibiotic therapy

• Nutritional deficiencies (e.g., low dietary fiber intake, low-residue diet)

Recommended Intake

Swallow capsules whole (do not chew or open). Take with ¾ glass of cool or lukewarm water. Preferably taken with meals.

• Adults: 1 capsule twice daily — morning and evening. Recommended duration: at least 3 months.

• Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule once daily, preferably in the evening. Recommended duration: approximately 6 weeks.
