Product Description
Contractubex is a transparent topical gel formulated to support skin healing and to modulate scar tissue formation. The product contains three active substances that act synergistically to regulate collagen synthesis and promote scar remodeling.
Composition
1 g of gel contains active substances:
-
Heparin sodium 50 IU
-
Allium cepa (onion) liquid extract 100 mg
-
Allantoin 10 mg
Excipients: sorbic acid, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, xanthan gum (Kelfrol F), polyethylene glycol 200, fragrance (Fragrance 231616), purified water.
Dosage and Administration
Apply Contractubex Gel 2 to 4 times daily for at least 3 months. Massage gently into the scar tissue until fully absorbed.
Pharmacological Action
Contractubex Gel contains a combination of heparin, onion extract, and allantoin:
-
Heparin: softens scar tissue, reduces edema, enhances tissue hydration, and stimulates cellular regeneration.
-
Onion extract: exhibits anti-inflammatory and bactericidal properties, and inhibits excessive fibroblast proliferation, helping prevent hypertrophic and keloid scarring.
-
Allantoin: promotes epithelial regeneration, softens scar tissue, and reduces pruritus commonly associated with wound healing.
Together, these substances help regulate collagen deposition, improving the structure, elasticity, and appearance of scars.
